We know from our experience that every client’s care and financial circumstances are unique. That’s why we don’t have a fixed pricelist, instead we create care plans that provide the best quality of life at the lowest cost.
Our care team is made up of warm, knowledgeable individuals with their own personalities and skills to share. While other agencies may aim to be the cheapest, we ensure our carers are paid a liveable wage.
Paying our carers well means they feel empowered and the value of the high-quality care they deliver is being recognised. This means that even though our services aren’t always the cheapest, they are always the best value for money because our carers give so much back.
While we quote on a case-by-case basis, we completely understand that costs are often front of mind. We’ve put together some scenarios to show how our pricing works.
-
Mrs Ferrera is well but frail. She can’t drive anymore and needs someone to help her run errands as well as taking her to the doctor once a week. She needs a flexible carer with a car for a just couple hours at a time. We quote a fixed hourly rate plus petrol and other expenses for infrequent or ad-hoc visits (10hrs or less p/week).
-
Mvr van Wyk recently had surgery. She lives with her family but it’s not possible for them to be there for her during the day. We quoted a weekly rate for an experienced post-op recovery carer to help her for a half-day Monday to Friday. As she recovers and can do more things herself, the hours of care she needs along with the costs are adjusted down until she’s completely back on her feet.

Mr Carroll needs night-care. His wife looks after him during the day but can’t do every day and night alone. If they need help only a few times a week to give Mrs Carroll a break, we would quote on a per night basis. If it was more than 3 nights a week we would quote per month. In both cases the cost would depend on whether the carer is needed on-call (and can sleep) or needs to be awake and monitoring Mr Carroll throughout the night.

Mrs Stirk has dementia. Her husband is with her all the time but he isn’t strong enough to lift her in and out of the bath, can’t leave her on her own when he needs to go out, and is feeling overwhelmed. Mr Srirk needs a couple carers he can rely on to help him to be there for his wife. Between them, the carers come for four hours a day, seven days a week. As Mrs Stirk receives more than 20 hours care per week, they are quoted a long-term discounted rate on a monthly basis.

Ms Wheeler is in the late stages of a terminal disease. Her children live overseas and want a 24-hour live-in service for their mom to make sure she is comfortable and cared for day and night. We quoted them a discounted monthly rate for a team of carers to always be there for Mrs Wheeler, liaise with her doctor and provide a point of contact for the family.
These examples are only a guide and your quote will depend entirely on your own circumstances.
