We care about your loved ones as much as you do. Our care companions are committed to ensuring that your loved ones enjoy the highest quality of care.
There’s nothing like the comfort we feel when we are in our own homes but as family members grow up and move on, you may find there aren’t as many people around to give you that extra hand when you need it.
What sets us apart from most home care services is that we offer genuine companionship that gives you the reassurance that someone is there to offer a helping hand or warmth and support when you need it.
Our Companions offer company and conversation, as well as providing support with household and social activities. The service is tailored to your requirements and can be adapted as your needs change.
We value spending time with you, whether it’s time spent drinking tea and chatting, looking through old family albums, taking a walk, or going out somewhere nice. Having someone you can talk to might be just the thing you need to brighten up your day. We mean it when we say we’re good company.
Our Companionship service also offers peace of mind to family members who are unable to visit regularly because they know their loved one is being cared for.
Getting out and about
In addition to helping you with short day-to-day outings and errands, your Companion will be happy to accompany you on day trips, allowing you and your friends or family to relax, safe in the knowledge that you are getting the personal attention you need while doing something you love.
Whether you are wanting to head out for a coffee or a trip to a local beach, our Companions are there for you whilst you are out of your home. They can also assist you with making travel arrangements and transporting any equipment you need.
“We had a lovely afternoon out and about. We visited the library, did some shopping and then had tea and scones at our favourite coffee shop. We are lifelong friends but didn’t get to see each other very often but now we get together regularly thanks to our Companion. She’s also a lot of fun and we have plenty of laughs on our outings! Thank you from the depths of our hearts.” – Jean, Janet and Eileen
Staying social
Wherever possible, we want you to be able to keep engaging in the social activities you love. That may be to attend a local club, or to simply meet with friends for a chat and a cup of tea. Your Companion will be on hand to support you whenever needed.
“I couldn’t go to my senior’s club meetings because I can’t drive anymore. These days I don’t miss a meeting thanks to my Companion who is always friendly, punctual and happy to help!” – Mrs Katz
