CareCompany has won a R7,000 donation from Longbeach Mall’s 'Trees of Hope' campaign. Your votes won us second place with almost a thousand entries to the prize draw in our box.
Trees of Hope was a two month fundraising drive to raise awareness for organisations that serve the community. The donation will help us to continue supporting the care needs of elders living locally who are struggling financially.
Through our Community Outreach programme, they receive all types of support from personal care and physical assistance to emotional support and specialist dementia care.
We would not be able to do this meaningful work without the incredible support we get from all of you who support us in many ways - from buying raffle tickets to attending our fundraising events. So we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who dropped their entries into our box.
We want to especially thank Cecilia and Angie from the Karma Café who helped us by getting patrons at the café to support us.
We are so fortunate to be a part of a community of people who share our passion for helping those who are most vulnerable.
